Solar water heater is the conversion of sunlight into renewable power for water heating using a solar thermal collector. Solar water heating systems include numerous technologies that are used international increasingly. In a basic installed solar water heating system, the storage tank is horizontally installed immediately above the solar collectors on the roof. No pumping is required as the hot water certainly rises into the tank through thermosiphon flow. these systems are designed to supply hot water for most of the year. however, at some stage in rainy season there sometimes may not be sufficient solar heat gain to supply enough hot water. A pre-installed heater element or any sort of immersion heater will then be used as a back-up to assist the heating process.
